How are you MVL readers, it’s Beth and I’m here again with another personal style post and I know it’s been long I’ve written a lifestyle post because I’m struggling with it a bit but soon soon. I must confess I’ve loved every bit of this whole blogging thing, right from the buying of a domain to the coming up with topics for a post to the whole consistency thing and just everything in general.
Blogging has never been easy but it’s all for the best and nothing good comes easy right? Let’s get to today’s outfit post.
We can’t obviously start without talking about my hair *covers face*, yes I cut my hair some few weeks back and I’ve been living the wig life. I love the way my hair is and I absolutely have no regrets. It’s like a stress free life. My sister says I look like Tawa from the movie October 1st, if you’ve watched it,do you think so?
I was going out then while doing my makeup, I just thought to myself “why don’t I just go out without the wig?” and it felt really different to me. There was once a time admired long hair, long relaxed hair to be precise but that was in secondary school when I would have to make my hair and I never had long hair but months after I left secondary school I decided to go natural (that was last year December). Going natural was because I was initially postponing relaxing my hair, from hair to hair, I didn’t relax it and before I knew it my roots began to change. Why I decided to cut my hair was also because the tips of my hair still had the relaxed look even after more than six months of going natural. Now I’m living the cut life. The only issue I have is that I can comb it smoothly but I’ll try harder.
Back to my outfit, I just wanted to blog about these shoes because it has been trending all over the Internet, the whole DIY yeezy boots. The person that came up with this idea is a blessing because the original yeezy cost about 400,000 naira and just putting socks over your shoes costs way less. The shoes I used just cost 6,000 naira and the price of socks should be less than 500 naira right? So am I wrong to say the person is a genius. To achieve these shoes, just put your preferred socks over your pointed toe heels. Be sure to see more of these on the blog as time goes on.
So I paired a cold-shoulder top with a leopard print peplum skirt and in some pictures a brown bag. While editing these pictures the name “school girl” just kept ringing in my head so I titled the post school girl and I added chic just for an edge. Just enjoy the pictures.
Tell me, would you try out this DIY yeezy boot and how would you style it? Don’t forget to subscribe also.
Till we meet again.
