INDEPENDENCE HEADWRAP

Hey hey hey,
It’s been eight days since I’ve made a post and I’m sorry. I know consistency is key but lately a lot and I mean a lot has been on my mind but I’m here anyways. Happy new month guys and happy independence to my country Nigeria.

A lot of people don’t feel we should celebrate Nigerians independence because it’s like we’ve achieved nothing since then and we are even worse. I mean #500 naira to $1 is just too crazy. We should definitely be better than where we are now but where are we?

I heard on the road when a guy was telling his friend that “Guy today is independence oo, where are we  going to celebrate?” and the friend looked at him with disgust and said “what are we celebrating? This bad Road? Bad light? Or bad government?”. When I heard that I just laughed because it’s so true, but anyways I love my country. I also didn’t do any celebration for Nigeria but oh well.

Leaving the whole “we don’t deserve to celebrate” palaver, let’s talk about today’s post. Honestly I’ve been wanting to post for a while but I’ve just been having all this bad convictions within me but I’m overcoming them little by little and I’m here with a style post.

I hardly tie anything on my head which explains why I don’t know how to tie scarf or gele, and I wonder why I’m not ready to learn how to tie gele, it has never been my thing. “oh my engagement” but in this post I managedly (I know that’s not a real word) tied this turban because it matched my outfit.

So I’m wearing a black net top, a red jeans and a blue, red, black, white turban with a yellow bag and black block heels. I decided to go with a yellow back to add a pop of colour to the whole combo.

The main reason I tied my hair was because it was rough and well, I was too lazy to start combing it out so I just slapped on this head tie and saved a lot of stress.

So this new blog would be a month old on the sixth and I’m planning to host a giveaway *covers face*. So just watch out for my next post or the one after that.

Tell me how your independence day went and what you think of my outfit pretty please *bat lashes*? Do subscribe also.

Till we meet again.
Remain blessed.

  1. I’ve been browsing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours.
It is pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if

be much more useful than ever before.

    1. Lol… People felt the same way about Nigeria. It’s really a shame that we are not bigger than this.
I would definitely tie more headtie now. Thank you Praise
