MY DAD’S SHIRT!

Hello everyone, as I’m typing I’m still struggling with what should be the title of this post but maybe when I’m done writing I would have come up with something. Who else struggles with that?

Mind my manners, how are you doing? I apologise for not publishing a post in 18 days!! *covers mouth*, trust me I’m not like that, I’m a very consistent blogger. Things just kind of slowed me down but here I am. I’m not too late to say happy new month right? So happy new month MVL readers.

For an unknown reason, I’m already feeling Christmas and I guess this Christmas would be good for me and you too.

Good tidings I bring with this outfit post. There’s really no story behind it. Okay there is actually but just for the top only. I kind of made this top or let me say altered it. It was my dad’s shirt so he was giving it away alongside some other shirts and while he was, I just quickly grabbed this one just for keeps. I actually just wanted to keep it as a shirt dress because it’s longer than a usual top but then creativity got the better part of it. I searched on Google then I stumbled upon an American blogger who also altered a shirt and I decided to cut the collar and part of the shoulder away and put an elastic band. After doing that I realised the hands were still too big for me so I cut off the wrist and put elastic on it too (I improvised for this one). And there it is, an off-shoulder shirt dress or a top as I used here.

I paired the off-shoulder top with my black trousers, a pair of heels (God bless my mother) and a black and grey bag. In some pictures, I put a hat and sunglasses just for an edge *wink*.
